Scholastic, Inc. has been a regular client over the past nine years. With them, we developed "Literacy Place" - a series of short vignettes featuring well-known personalities from all walks of life. As the title implies, the series is meant to help elementary school students with their reading and literacy skills.
We recently completed production on Scholastic's new CD-ROM series "Read180." Terra produced all the video assets for this multi-CD series for in-school use in grades 1 through 6. We are now commencing production in a more advanced version of Read 180.
We also co-produced with Scholastic a campaign for the USDA on nutrition. Two videos were made which incorporated original songs and animations. These videos, along with accompanying print materials, are still being used nation-wide in schools and community groups.
While "Food Works" relied on live-action footage, "Food Time," produced for a younger audience, made extensive use of songs and animated overlays such as Buddy Tastebud pictured in this frame from the video.
We are currently co-producing with Scholastic an expanded series of "Read 180" CD-ROMs dealing with reading skills.
