“The Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards”

This program, taped live from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, showcases performances and appearances by some of Hispanic America’s greatest names, including Jimmy Smits, Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno and Gloria Estefan, Hector Elizondo, Martin Sheen, Anthony Quinn. This annual event is grounded in a reputable foundation with an ever growing recognition and prestige. Terra has produced the Annual Hispanic Awards since 1997.

“Technical Difficulties”

The production and creative development of a television pilot for the 8-12 year old audience. Developed by the Harvard Center for Science Education. Those off-beat dramatic 1/2 hours center on two High School students in the town of Abotsville, a small isolated town of advanced robots. Unbeknownst to them, the sole purpose of an A-Bot’s existence is to test market new consumer products.

"S.N.O.O.P.S."

The Galaxy Institute of Hughes' Communications

When Hughes Communications established an experimental division to explore the possibilities of using their digital technology for direct satellite-to-school education, the competition for qualified producers was fierce. Terra was awarded the Science curriculum. We decided to go with an interactive dramatic series. The result was "S.N.O.O.P.S." a series we feel is unparalleled in its clear and effective approach to hands-on Science education while captivating a national elementary school audience.

“Science Discoveries”

A series of thirteen television programs developed for the New York State Department of Education, geared to reveal the world of science to elementary school children. Includes documentary segments, studio experiments, and stock footage. "Science Discoveries" was written and produced in Spanish and English, a requirement that necessitated filming each scene twice. Broadcast over PBS stations throughout the Northeast.
